LHC in DC: Frontline Perspectives on Health Care Defense

After a dinner-debate with Amy Walter of The Cook Political Report to conclude the first day of sessions, Leadership Health Care kicked off the second day of its delegation to Washington, DC, with briefing sessions led by officials from the administration and members of prominent health professional organizations. The day began with an advocacy panel including American Hospital Association Group Vice President of Public Policy Molly Smith; Jeanette Thornton, executive vice president of U.S. health insurance plan product business and employer policy; and the American Medical Association’s senior vice president of advocacy, Todd Askew.
