Sunrise weathercaster Sam Mac was in shock on Wednesday morning when he joined a women-only Pilates class in Wilton, NSW.
The 40-year-old put his athleticism to the test after reuniting with old friend Corinne, the owner of Limitless Fitness and Nutrition, who won $20,000 last year in Sam’s competition promoting the Australian small businesses.
Sam walked around the class as the women enjoyed their morning workout, before hopping on the Pilates reformer bed.

“You’re about to do an exercise called sling legs,” Corinne explained to Sam, adding that some people “call it the birthing position.”
“Well, I’ve had a little experience with that lately,” Sam replied, referring to his partner Rebecca James, who gave birth to their daughter earlier this month.
The TV comedian looked uncomfortable as he lifted his legs and placed his feet in the reformer’s foot straps.
He squeezed his legs together and pushed them back and forth while grimacing as the camera captured every angle of Sam’s workout.
‘Epidural! epidural!’ he shouted jokingly. “I don’t know if there are any fitness benefits to this, but we’re having a lot of fun!”

Matt Shirvington and Monique Wright, who stand in for David ‘Kochie’ Koch and Natalie Barr as they are in London to report on the Queen’s funeral, watched amusedly in the Sunrise studio.
Matt said he was relieved that Sam wore jeans for the segment instead of shorts because it could have spelled disaster.
Sam’s hilarious fitness experience comes after he welcomed daughter Margot Grace on Sunday September 11.
Earlier this week he was slammed by busy people for sharing a lighthearted photo of Rebecca cradling their newborn baby while holding a huge wine glass, which he had filled with an entire bottle of rosé.
“My darling Rebecca has been looking forward to a glass of wine for nine months. You’re welcome boo,’ she captioned her post on Instagram.
Sam’s famous friends and followers loved the gag giveaway, with former Neighbors star Bonnie Anderson writing: ‘I know the feeling!

“Thumbs up to the mega pint,” wrote one fan, referencing a famous quote from the Johnny Depp libel lawsuit against Amber Heard.
Another follower said the drink was “well deserved”.
But some fans were unimpressed with the message, with several pointing out that alcohol consumption is not recommended for women who have just given birth, especially if they are breastfeeding.
“Should I drink while breastfeeding? Where are [you] bottle-feeding?’ asked a concerned follower in the comments section.

‘Ummm…Not supposed to drink if you’re breastfeeding…’ another added.
One wrote: ‘Not breastfeeding? But if so, remember what you got, baby got it too.
Other fans rushed to defend the new parents, saying it’s wrong to assume Rebecca is breastfeeding and it’s nobody’s “business” if she drinks.
“None of your business or our business!” a supporter fired back. “They’re a well-behaved couple who don’t need strangers’ advice or questions.”
